BAKED FRESH DAILY

All of our breads are baked in our hand-built, wood-fired brick oven.  We have been baking bread this old-fashioned way for over a decade.  The natural wood heat and brick hearth have proven perfect for baking bread.

Sourdough – Traditional rounds and short baguettes.

Seeded Sourdough – Rolled in sesame, black sesame, & flax seeds.

Rosemary Sourdough – With fresh picked, organic rosemary.

Sourdough Rye – Sourdough culture with organic pumpernickel meal, dark rye flour, and caraway seeds.

Garlic Romano – Sourdough rolled in garlic and Romano cheese.

Cheese & Olive – Sourdough with cheddar cheese and Kalamata olives.

Triple Cheese – Loaded with Swiss, Monterey jack, & cheddar cheese.

Raisin Pecan – Sourdough with organic flame raisins, cinnamon, & pecans.

Maple Walnut – Breakfast bread with walnuts and pure maple syrup.

Honey Wheat – Traditional wheat bread touched with honey in sandwich loaf form.

Bird Seed – Our honey wheat bread rolled in sunflower, sesame, & flax seeds.

Tyee Mountain – Our multigrain specialty bread made with spelt, rye, barley, & wheat and rolled in pumpkin, sesame, & flax seeds.

Pumpernickel – Dark, German-style bread with pumpernickel meal, dark rye, molasses, and caraway seeds.

Spelt – Spelt is a very healthy, ancient whole grain similar to wheat with a nutty flavor and slightly different texture than wheat.  Spelt has less gluten than wheat and is becoming popular for its nutritional value, especially among people who are allergic to wheat.  We make our spelt bread with 100% whole grain spelt in sandwich loaf form.

 

BAKED GOODS

 

We use all natural, high quality ingredients, and local and organic foods as much as possible. We offer a variety of baked goods including:

Muffins – Blueberry and Cranberry are our staples.  Other varieties include Lemon Poppy, Banana Chocolate Chip, Apple Spice, & Carrot Raisin.

Spelt Muffins – Apple-Berry with 100% spelt flour. Becoming more and more popular!

Almond Tea Cake – Light, fluffy cake with pure almond extract and slivered almonds. Best enjoyed with a steaming cup of tea!

Carrot Cake – A double layer cake with carrots, raisins, & walnuts with a homemade cream-cheese frosting.

German Chocolate Cake – A big treat!  A double layer, rich chocolate cake with homemade coconut pecan frosting.

Biscotti – Almond anise or chocolate cranberry.

 

Cookies – We offer many kinds, but the ones we make regularly are:

Almond Crescents – German-style butter cookies with crushed almonds and rolled in powdered sugar.

Trail Mix Cookies – With rolled oats, macadamia nuts, dried cranberries, pecans, & chocolate chips.

Monkey Bars – A healthy trail bar made with rolled oats, bananas, walnuts, & flax seeds.

Additional varieties pop up from time to time when the bakers get creative!
